Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has described Easter as a profound reminder of the triumph of life over death and light over darkness.<\/p>\n

Governor Adeleke also urged Christians to reflect on its message of love, sacrifice and hope.<\/p>\n

He made this known in a congratulatory message issued by his Spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed and addressed to Christians in Osun State and across the country on the celebration of Easter.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, the governor noted that the essence of the celebration lies in selflessness and faith in a better future.<\/p>\n

Governor Adeleke acknowledged the spiritual significance of the season, stressing that \u201cthe sacrifice of Jesus Christ calls for renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence and service to humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n

He reassured the Christian community in the state of his administration\u2019s commitment to fairness, inclusiveness and the protection of religious freedom.<\/p>\n

The Governor stated that his government remained dedicated to building a society where all citizens, regardless of faith, could thrive without fear or discrimination.<\/p>\n

He urged Christians to imbibe the virtues of humility, forgiveness and love exemplified during the Easter period.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese values are essential for strengthening unity and advancing the collective progress of the state,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

While addressing residents, the Governor reaffirmed his administration\u2019s resolve to sustain people-oriented governance and improve critical sectors affecting daily life.<\/p>\n

He cautioned against individuals seeking to exploit religious sentiments for political gain, noting that such actions promote division.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we commemorate this sacred season, I urge all citizens to embrace its message of hope and renewal while praying for Osun State, Nigeria and leaders at all levels,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
