Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A 30-year-old man identified as Elisha Abbas Saku, met a gruesome end after he was ambushed and beheaded by bandits suspected to be Fulani militias at Riwhie-Chwo, in Nzharuvo community, Miango District of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.<\/p>\n

The National Publicity Secretary of the Irigwe Youth Movement, IYM, Joseph Yonkpa, who confirmed the incident in a message he shared on social media on Friday evening, said the attack occurred on Thursday night at about 10pm when the gunmen stormed the community and murdered Saku, while inflicting injuries on other residents.<\/p>\n

Yonkpa stated that the brutal killing of Saku, which seemed to be a targeted attack, has thrown residents and the community, as well as the Irigwe nation into panic and confusion.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday (Thursday) night, 16th April, 2026, gunmen ambushed and beheaded Mr. Elisha Abbas Saku, 30 years old, at Riwhie-Chwo, Nzharuvo, Miango District of Bassa LGA, Plateau State.<\/p>\n

\u201cMay his soul rest in peace, and may God comfort the entire Irigwe Nation,\u201d Yokpa said, while praying for the repose of the deceased\u2019s soul.<\/p>\n
