{"id":198999,"date":"2026-04-18T17:50:48","date_gmt":"2026-04-18T16:50:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/police-arrest-33-year-old-drug-baron-in-delta"},"modified":"2026-04-18T18:59:05","modified_gmt":"2026-04-18T17:59:05","slug":"police-arrest-33-year-old-drug-baron-in-delta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/police-arrest-33-year-old-drug-baron-in-delta","title":{"rendered":"Police Arrest 33-Year-Old Drug Baron in Delta"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Operatives of Anti-Crime Patrol, Orerokpe Division in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State have arrested a thirty three(33)year old drug baron with large quantities of suspected hard drugs.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect was arrested during a raid of a drug hideout in Ugolo community on 15 April 2026 at about 2223hrs.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect is currently cooling off in the custody of the Police.<\/p>\n<p>Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a statement on Saturday in Warri.<\/p>\n<p>The Police Image maker said,\u201dOn 15 April 2026 at about 2223hrs, Anti-Crime Patrol operatives of Orerokpe division raided a drug hideout in Ugholo community, arresting Justina Onokpasa (F), 33.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to him,\u201dDuring the raid, the operatives recovered exhibits which includes two large bags of weeds suspected to be Canadian loud and also three hundred (300) small cans of substances also suspected to be Canadian Loud, thirty (30) bottles of CSC codeine, ten (10) sachets of tramadol,two (2) sachets of \u2018Super Royal\u2019 (Redboy), twelve (12) sachets of Swinol, twelve (12) pieces of molly drugs, and four hundred (400) empty distribution cans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>SP Edafe noted that,\u201dSuspects are in custody and investigation is ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Nigeria<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
