Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Chelsea hero, Ruud Gullit has refused to name Arsenal among the favorites to win the Champions League this season.<\/p>\n

The Gunners face Atletico Madrid away from home in the first leg of their semi-final on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta\u2019s men are unbeaten in the Champions League this term. They beat their next opponents Atletico 4-0 and secured a 3-1 win over Bayern Munich in the group phase of the competition.<\/p>\n

Despite the Premier League giants\u2019 impressive performances in Europe, Gullit feels Bayern and reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain, PSG, are the main contenders.<\/p>\n

The Dutchman credited Bayern for playing \u2018good football\u2019 and believes that PSG can control games very well due to their midfield.<\/p>\n

Gullit is aware of the fact that only one of Bayern and PSG will go through to the final since they play each other in the first semi-final on Tuesday. He called that fact a \u2018shame\u2019.<\/p>\n

Gullit told Diarro AS, \u201cI like Bayern Munich. I think they play good football. I think they have a chance. I must say I\u2019m also very impressed with PSG again.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way they play, I love how they play, especially in midfield. That\u2019s where they control the game most of the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo it\u2019s between these two. Of course, it\u2019s a shame they\u2019re both depending on each other. So one of these two, I think, will win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arsenal have come under pressure in recent weeks due to their concerning run of form.<\/p>\n

They could only secure a 1-0 aggregate win over two legs against Sporting in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.<\/p>\n
