A cross-section of Nigerians have reacted after Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, reacted to the establishment of the Southwest security outfit, Amotekun. why-we-launched-new-security-outfit-in-south-west-fayemi\/<\/p>\n
Tinubu had called for private discussion between the Governors of the South-west and the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Mallam Abubakar Malami, over Amotekun.<\/p>\n
He had said the foundation of the country had not been put at risk with the South-west regional security outfit launched by the governors of the zone in a bit to confront the insecurity in their respective states.<\/p>\n
On why it took him time to react to the establishment of Amotekun, the APC National Leader also revealed that he had deliberately took a studied silence.<\/p>\n
However, Nigerians expressed divergent opinions to Tinubu\u2019s remark on Amotekun.<\/p>\n
