The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bolaji Tinubu, has said that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will throw Nigerian into darkness if elected as President.<\/p>\n

Tinubu said Atiku\u2019s thirst cannot be quenched and he had a hand that cannot be restrained from taking whatever is on the table.<\/p>\n

This was part of Tinubu\u2019s acceptance speech after he took charge of President Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s Campaign.<\/p>\n

The former Lagos Governor said, \u201cWith Atiku, things are more nuanced. When Atiku speaks, he may mean \u2018yes,\u2019 \u2018no,\u2019 \u2018maybe,\u2019 \u2018I don\u2019t know,\u2019 \u2018come back tomorrow,\u2019 \u2018all of the above,\u2019 or \u2018none of the above.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cHis is a thirst that can\u2019t be quenched and he has a hand that cannot be restrained from taking whatever is on the table.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the PDP candidate, he is now the leader of a avaricious horde that seeks to reattach its mandible once again to the public wealth and forever lay siege to our nation\u2019s future. Nigerians would do well not to pay them any attention.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne seeking to better the lot of generality of Nigerians and one which has no regard for the public but seeks to return the country to the days of official malpractices and corruption.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe character of the two candidates cannot be more distinct. President Buhari is a straight and honest man. Leave a naira on the table with Buhari in the room, you will find the naira on the table when you return.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Buhari says \u2018yes\u2019 or \u2018no,\u2019 you know where he stands; he means what he says; no more, no less.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis compass has four needles pointing in different directions at the same time. He knows of no direction to take. President Buhari\u2019s word is his bond. When Atiku speaks, it is to give you the slip.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe cannot afford a President whose ways and mind is a maze of contradicting urges and colliding desires. This shows he has no vision for the nation and no guiding principles except the naked pursuit of power for the naked use of that power.<\/p>\n

\u201cAtiku had his chance to shine as VP when he controlled the privatisation programme of the Obasanjo government. He abused this assignment. He helped squander billions of dollars on power generation that did nothing but extended our national darkness.\u201d<\/p>\n
