President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with families of victims of the latest attacks in Maiduguri, Borno State.<\/p>\n
He assured that his administration will continually frustrate the devilish operations of Boko Haram, and bring it to an end.<\/p>\n
Buhari condemned the \u201cmurderous and cowardly attack on innocent passengers by the Boko Haram terrorists near Maiduguri\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n
In a statement by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, Buhari added that his administration is ever determined to frustrate their goal to hold Nigeria to ransom\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe commitment of this administration to protect the lives of Nigerians will not be derailed by the cowardly and indiscriminate violence against innocent people by Boko Haram terrorists,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
President Buhari, who also condoled with the government of the state, warns \u201cthat terrorists are clearly on the back foot and their days are numbered\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs our armed forces continue to receive more hardware and intelligence to counter our current security challenges, the remnants of Boko Haram will ultimately be crushed.<\/p>\n
