The 30-year-old completed a move to Old Trafford at the end of January and is due to spend the remainder of the 2019-20 campaign on loan at the club from Shanghai Shenhua.<\/p>\n

Ighalo had featured off the bench against Chelsea, Club Brugge and Watford before making his first start against Brugge in the second leg of their last-32 Europa League contest.<\/p>\n

The centre-forward got off the mark for his new club in the 34th minute when he tapped a low Juan Mata cross past former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet into the back of the net.<\/p>\n

Anthony Martial’s injury blow had opened the door for the former Watford striker to feature, and he added to Bruno Fernandes’s penalty to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side a 2-0 advantage.<\/p>\n
