President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed satisfaction over Nigerians response to the global coronavirus infection<\/p>\n
The President who hosted the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the presidential villa made public, details of their meeting in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle<\/p>\n
Sanwo-Olu had briefed the President on developments surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak in Lagos State.<\/p>\n
DAILY POST had reported that Sanwo-Olu had met with Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, yesterday.<\/p>\n
According to Buhari: \u201cToday, Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State briefed me on the Coronavirus situation. I am very pleased by how diligently Nigeria is responding to the situation, at all levels of government, and from the private sector as well. I commend everyone involved.<\/p>\n
\u201cNigeria will continue to fulfill its obligations to the international community, by ensuring that we curtail the spread of the disease. The Federal Government is making available all the resources required to contain the threats.

Recall that the Nigerian Government had recently recorded its first case in Lagos State.<\/p>\n
The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire had confirmed the outbreak of the disease in Lagos.<\/p>\n
