{"id":23359,"date":"2020-04-01T15:52:09","date_gmt":"2020-04-01T15:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.com\/nigeria\/?p=23359"},"modified":"2020-04-01T15:52:09","modified_gmt":"2020-04-01T15:52:09","slug":"we-dont-know-abba-kyaris-whereabouts-lagos-govt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/all-news\/we-dont-know-abba-kyaris-whereabouts-lagos-govt","title":{"rendered":"We don\u2019t know Abba Kyari\u2019s whereabouts \u2013 Lagos govt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Africa Press-Nigeria:<\/p>\n<p>The Lagos State, through its Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has said it does not know the whereabouts of Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n<p>This is contrary to reports that Kyari is at the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) isolation centre in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Abayomi said he does not know Kyari\u2019s location.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that Kyari had on Sunday, informed Nigerians, via a letter, that he tested positive for COVIID-19 last week and would be in Lagos on Monday for further tests based on medical advice.<\/p>\n<p>He was later reported to have been flown from Abuja to Lagos in an air ambulance<\/p>\n<p>But, while addressing newsmen on Tuesday, Prof. Abayomi said: \u201cI\u2019m not aware of the Chief of Staff\u2019s itinerary, so I don\u2019t know where he is, we chat on WhatsApp but I cannot tell where he is from our chat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re exchanging information, but I haven\u2019t asked him for his location.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe seems well and happy and we\u2019re exchanging information on strategic issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has been a long time we talked about his health.
