{"id":23517,"date":"2020-04-05T15:03:50","date_gmt":"2020-04-05T15:03:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.com\/nigeria\/?p=23517"},"modified":"2020-04-05T15:03:50","modified_gmt":"2020-04-05T15:03:50","slug":"fg-sets-to-evacuate-nigerians-from-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/all-news\/fg-sets-to-evacuate-nigerians-from-us","title":{"rendered":"FG sets to evacuate Nigerians from US"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Africa Press-Nigeria:<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Government has set machinery into motion to evacuate willing Nigerians from the United States of America (USA) over the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>In a memo titled evacuation of Nigerians from the US by the Consulate General of Nigeria, Nigerians interested in leaving the US were told to indicate interest.<\/p>\n<p>The memo signed by Consul (Information and Community Relations) Mrs. Ninikanwa Okey-Uche, the willing Nigerians were asked to provide the details, including COVID-19 status, travel document status, location and reason for the request to the Consulate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInformation received will be compiled and forwarded to the Nigerian Government for appropriate action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs soon as necessary arrangements are made, all concerned individuals will be informed accordingly.
