Information reaching POLITICS NIGERIA has it that one of the children of the late environmental activist, Ken Saro-Wiwa, has lost his life to the dreaded Coronavirus.<\/p>\n
It was gathered that the deceased, Menegian, aged 50, died of the respiratory virus at a London hospital.<\/p>\n
In a Facebook post on Thursday, the daughter of the late environmental activist said his brother died of COVID-19 combined with underlying health conditions.<\/p>\n
She wrote, \u201cWe said goodbye to my brother, Gian, on Monday.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe had COVID-19 combined with underlying health conditions.<\/p>\n
\u201cGian was the smartest and most talented out of all of us: a champion sprinter at school, a poet, an artist, budding engineer, a self-taught guitarist and pianist. But mental health issues limited his life from age 16 onwards.<\/p>\n
\u201cI took this photo of him a few months ago before he was hospitalised.<\/p>\n
\u201cA kind and beautiful soul, always wanting the best for his family, always praying for our future success while being eternally optimistic about his own. And, of course, always loving his music. He leaves a wonderful son, Louis.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
