{"id":24363,"date":"2020-04-26T15:31:48","date_gmt":"2020-04-26T15:31:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.com\/nigeria\/?p=24363"},"modified":"2020-04-26T15:31:48","modified_gmt":"2020-04-26T15:31:48","slug":"twins-children-of-islamic-cleric-kidnapped-in-ibadan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/all-news\/twins-children-of-islamic-cleric-kidnapped-in-ibadan","title":{"rendered":"Twins children of Islamic cleric kidnapped in Ibadan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Africa Press-Nigeria:<\/p>\n<p>Twins children of an Islamic cleric in Oyo State, Sheikh Taofeeq Akewugbagold, have been kidnapped.<\/p>\n<p>t the two children, a male and a female were kidnapped at gunpoint in Ibadan, the state capital, Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>Akewugbagold, who disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page in the early hours of Sunday, said the children were kidnapped at gunpoint at his Ojoo residence in Ibadan on Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>The cleric called on people to assist him in prayers and begged the abductors to have mercy on the mother of the abducted twins who was barren for almost 12 years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat a country! My twins children were kidnapped at gun point at my Ojoo residence Ibadan, around 8 pm Saturday, 10 minutes after I left my home for a recording lecture in a studio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverybody should please, for Allah\u2019s sake, assist me in prayer and beg the abductors to please be merciful with me especially their mother who was barren for 12 years. I\u2019m begging, not flexing anything. This is their pictures, help share wide.
