Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has sent a consolation message to Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, over the death of his mother, Fatimah Umar Badami.<\/p>\n

POLITICS NIGERIA reported that Mrs Badami died at the age of 68 on Wednesday after battling with a protracted sickness.<\/p>\n

She died at the Federal Medical Centre, Yola. Before now, the governor lost his father at the age of 82.<\/p>\n

In his reaction on Twitter, Mr Abubakar said: \u201cInna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji\u2019un. I have spoken to Gov Ahmadu Fintiri and expressed my condolences and that of my family over the loss of his dear mother, Hajiya Fatimah Umaru.<\/p>\n

\u201cI pray that Allah will forgive her sins and grant her Aljannah Firdaus. Ameen. -AA\u201d<\/p>\n
