Chelsea wonderkid Bryan Fiabema has given a massive hint that he would be open to switching his international allegiance from Norway to Nigeria in the near future after following the Super Eagles on Instagram, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.<\/p>\n

Born to a Nigerian father and Norwegian mother seventeen years ago, Fiabema was free to play for Nigeria’s youth teams without applying to FIFA for a change of association until October 2019 when he made his competitive debut for Norway U17s in a European Championship qualifier against Bulgaria.<\/p>\n

Fiabema’s social media activity confirms he is a fan of the Super Eagles and their players as he is also following Everton’s Alex Iwobi and Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze as well as Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo.<\/p>\n

Faustino Anjorin, Derrick Abu,Tariq Uwakwe and Jordan Aina, who are eligible to represent Nigeria and play for Chelsea’s youth teams, are among the accounts he follows on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Quizzed on Fiabema’s international future, his agent Imad El Hammichi told allnigeriasoccer.com back in December : “It’s up to him to make a choice later for which national team he will play in. Right now he plays for the Norwegian U17s. And he is happy with that”.<\/p>\n

Strikers Chuma Anene and Ohi Omoijuanfo have caps for Norway’s youth teams but are willing to represent the Super Eagles if approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.<\/p>\n

Fiabema joined Chelsea in the January transfer window and has debuted for their youth teams in the U18 Premier League and Premier League 2.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
