Troops of Sector 1, Operation Lafiya Dole have killed nine Boko Haram terrorists; while crossing Maiduguri-Damaturu road in the Mainok\/Jakana axis of Borno state.<\/p>\n

Army\u2019s Spokesman, Col. Sagir Musa Wednesday in Maiduguri disclosed that the troops ambushed terrorists and recovered two gun trucks,
\nwhile others fled with gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

Mainok and Jakana villages located along the road, were severally attacked by Boko Haram with loss of many lives and property.<\/p>\n

According to him; \u201cSo far, nine Boko Haram terrorists lost their lives and two gun trucks mounted with anti-aircraft guns have been captured
\nand exploitation during ongoing counter-insurgency operations.\u201d<\/p>\n

He noted that two soldiers were injured and are being evacuated to a military health facility for treatment.<\/p>\n
