1. Nigeria on Monday recorded 573 new cases of coronavirus.<\/p>\n

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control in a tweet via its official Twitter account, said Lagos recorded 216 cases, while Rivers followed with 103.<\/p>\n

2. Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Tony Aziegbemi, has declared that Governor Godwin Obaseki and all his loyalists were set to join the party.<\/p>\n

He said Obaseki\u2019s deputy, Philip Shuaib, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) chapter would also defect.<\/p>\n

3. Adebayo Osinowo, Senator representing Lagos East in the National Assembly is dead.<\/p>\n
