The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), has alleged that some policemen shot dead three of its members in Kaduna<\/p>\n
In a statement, the President, Media Forum of the IMN, Ibrahim Musa, alleged that three Shi\u2019ite members were attacked and killed by the combined team of armed police and thugs<\/p>\n
According to the statement, \u201cthe killing happened on Saturday evening when the Islamic group clashed with security agents during it\u2019s Ashura mourning session in the state.\u201d<\/p>\n
The statement also claimed tha vehicles of those who attended the mourning were vandalised, while a police vehicle caught fire after it fell into a gutter, resulting in the burning of a house close to it.<\/p>\n
\u201cA team of policemen attacked a gathering of members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria holding the annual Ashura mourning commemorating the brutal assassination of Imam Husein, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad and killed three persons.<\/p>\n
\u201cThose killed are Abubakar Talle, Ali Rigasa, and an unnamed person, with many people injured by gunshots.\u201d the statement further said<\/p>\n
Kaduna State Police Public Relation Officer did not pick his calls to confirm or discredit the reports.<\/p>\n
