Africa Press-Nigeria:<\/p>\n

China will allow some international flights to Beijing to resume from September 3.<\/p>\n

State broadcaster CCTV made this known on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Flights were suspended since March 23 due to the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

Flights from eight of the countries with fewer COVID-19 cases will be allowed to land.<\/p>\n

They are Austria, Cambodia, Canada, Denmark, Greece, Pakistan, Sweden and Thailand.<\/p>\n

The first flight will arrive in Beijing from Cambodia\u2019s capital, Phnom Penh.<\/p>\n

Coronavirus broke out in Wuhan, China, in late 2019.<\/p>\n

There have been 26 million cases globally and 860,000 deaths.<\/p>\n
