Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has pleaded with the people to allow the Federal Anti-Robbery Squad, F-SARS, do their work in places where they are effective.<\/p>\n

Fayemi, who is also the Chairman, Nigerian Governors\u2019 Forum, NGF, said this on Channels Television\u2019s Politics Today, on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The Governor, who backed the ongoing youths\u2019 protest against police brutality across the country, noted that \u201cin areas where F-SARS has been efficient and effective we should really allow them to continue to do the work\u201d.<\/p>\n

Fayemi insisted that there was nothing wrong with the protest and the call for police to be reformed, adding that young people should be encouraged to ask more questions.<\/p>\n
