Femi Falana, counsel to the detained leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), Ibraheem El-Zakzaky on Tuesday said his client has lost one eye and is in need of urgent attention.<\/p>\n

He also said El-Zazarky\u2019s wife needed urgent medical attention as the bullets in the body of the detained wife of the Islamic cleric were yet to be removed.<\/p>\n

The trial of the IMN leader and his wife Zeenatuddeen held briefly Tuesday at a Kaduna High Court before it was adjourned to March 25.<\/p>\n

El-Zakzaky is currently facing trial over allegations of unlawful assembly, disruption of public peace and culpable homicide filed against him by the Kaduna State government.<\/p>\n

He was, however, denied bail by a judge, Gideon Kurada during the last sitting on November 7, 2018.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the case was adjourned, Falana told journalists that his client and his wife needed urgent medical attention in order to stand their trial.<\/p>\n
