The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday arrested Jumoke Ayodele and Opeoluwa Temitayo.<\/p>\n
They attempted to smuggle hard drugs to suspects in the custody of the Ibadan zonal office.<\/p>\n
Wilson Uwujaren, Head of Media & Publicity, in a statement, said the items, according to an EFCC medical officer, is \u201ccolorado\u201d.<\/p>\n
He quoted the ladies as admitting that the substance was meant for the consumption of some detainees.<\/p>\n
They wrapped them in small cellophane packs and tucked them inside sausages they brought for the detainees.<\/p>\n
EFCC feed detainees but allow meals from their visiting relatives.<\/p>\n
Uwujaren noted that the suspects to recieve the drug are Itiowe Kelvin, Oluwatobi Damilola and Ayodele David.<\/p>\n
They were among those arrested during a recent raid on suspected internet fraudsters in the state.<\/p>\n
EFCC added that the ladies will be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).<\/p>\n
