Please, note that the meeting with ASUU, earlier scheduled for today, is cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, the inauguration of the technical committee on PMS will be held as scheduled,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>But ASUU President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi said the union\u2019s leadership did not agree on any meeting with the government.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, \u201cthe government\u2019s side is also consulting which could also be a factor as to why the meeting was cancelled.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe never actually agreed on any meeting. What we said was due consultations, and consultations are going on at the two levels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe the government is also consulting and that\u2019s why the meeting has not been held.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, consultations are going on,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
