Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>No fewer than eight thousand complaints have been received by the Zamfara State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) over non-payment of pension refunds.<\/p>\n

This was disclosed to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital by the State Secretary of the Union, comrade Bitrus Gyang, who said that the money was deducted from the salaries of civil servants in the state.<\/p>\n

According to him, the complaints ranged from lack of updated records, wrong computer or under deduction.<\/p>\n

Comrade Gyang explained that the union was working in collaboration with the office of the state Head of service to ensure that those who were not paid would be paid.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth the Congress and the office of the State Head of service are working together to access remittance for the civil servants who were not cleared of the problem in the state,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

According to the scribe, all efforts were being made to ensure the extension of the service of the consultants.<\/p>\n
