Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the passing of his former Mimister, Abdullahi Ibrahim.<\/p>\n

Abdullahi Ibrahim, SAN, was Buhari\u2019s first Minister of Education, Science and Technology as Military Head of State.<\/p>\n

Buhari later appointed him as the Minister of Transportation, and he went on to serve as the Attorney General and Minister of Justice under the regime of General Abdulsalami Abubakar.<\/p>\n

In the message on Sunday, a copy of which was made available to DAILY POST, by Garba Shehu, his Spokesman, Buhari described Abdullahi Ibrahim as an \u201cexemplary lawyer and statesman with impeccable integrity.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Buhari, Ibrahim will be missed for his selfless service to the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs Minister in my government, Abdullahi Ibrahim will be remembered for doing so much to empower the girl child, including access to education,\u201d Buhari said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis accomplishments will continue to make us proud,\u201d the President added, extending the condolences of the entire nation to the bereaved family and Kogi State government.<\/p>\n
