Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Police Command in Ekiti State has debunked the \u201cinflux of herdsmen\u201d into the state from Oyo State.<\/p>\n

Sunday Abutu, Police Public Relations Officer, in a statement on Wednesday, said there had been no sight or report of herders entering Ekiti in large numbers.<\/p>\n

He cautioned against speculations that may cause apprehension in the state.<\/p>\n

The spokesman warned that would no longer be tolerated.<\/p>\n

The statement implored members of the public to always verify information on social media.<\/p>\n

The command assured the people of adequate protection of lives and property, and advised them to be vigilant.<\/p>\n
