Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>COVID-19 infections in Nigeria have continued to surge as the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 676 new cases, bringing the total number of infections to 131,918.<\/p>\n

The health agency disclosed this on its official Twitter handle, Monday night.<\/p>\n

The NCDC said that twenty-one additional people died from coronavirus-related complications in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,607.<\/p>\n

It stated that the 676 new infections were recorded in 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n
