Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Seecretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha says President Muhammadu Buhari is working earnestly at ensuring the fulfilment of his promise that every Nigerian in whatever region, of whatever tribe or political conviction gets his fair share of the nation\u2019s resources.<\/p>\n

Speaking in the Adamawa State capital, Yola, Boss Mustapha disclosed that as part of ensuring that development projects go round, the Buhari administration has in the last five years given out 280 ecological intervention projects across the country.<\/p>\n

Adding that so far 210 of the projects have been completed and commissioned, the SGF said this is an unprecedented feat in the history of the country.<\/p>\n

Boss Mustapha made the remarks on Saturday during the commissioning of road and storm water drainage network at Federal College of Education (FCE) Yola, where he represented Buhari as Sprcial Guest of Honour.<\/p>\n

The project, consisting of a road network complemented with a drainage system and solar powered street lighting and designed primarily to stop perennial flooding within and around the FCE Yola, was executed by the Ecological Fund Office (EFO), Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe approval of this project by Mr. President is testimony to the present administration\u2019s promise that no part of the country will suffer any neglect owing to its geographical location or political consideration.<\/p>\n

\u201cFederal Government\u2019s execution of projects across the country also demonstrates the sincerity of purpose of the Buhari-led administration towards entrenching equity, justice, and fairplay to all and sundry,\u201d the SGF said.<\/p>\n

Earlier, during the commissioning and handing over of the Road and Storm Water Drainage at the FCE, located in the Jimeta district of Yola, the Permanent Secretary, Ecological Fund Office m, Dr Habiba Lawal, explained that the project was executed by the Federal Government as one of the Second Quarter of 2018 Federal Government\u2019s ecological intetvention projects which contracts were awarded by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in November 2018.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe project was initiated through a request for an urgent intervention forwarded to the Ecological Fund Office by the Provost of Federal College of Education Yola to arrest the continuous erosion, flood and other ecological challenges in the institution,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
