Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, on Saturday, said the country needs prayer.<\/p>\n

The PDP Chairman made the assertion while speaking during the victory thanksgiving\/anniversary service in honour of Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State in Yenagoa.<\/p>\n

Secondus said the country is currently in distress, stressing that Nigeria needs divine intervention from God.<\/p>\n

He revealed that there is confusion in the land, urging Nigerians to pray for the country.<\/p>\n

Secondus, who prayed that God, who brought Governor Douye Diri as the governor of Bayelsa State, will give him the grace to pilot the affairs of the state, also urged residents to support the governor.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cOur country is in distress, and it\u2019s only God that can take us out of the trouble we are in.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is confusion; the economy is at the lowest level that is why I urge everyone here today to remember our country in prayers. If not, we are in for it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
