Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, has said Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder can still be the \u201cright\u201d fight.<\/p>\n

However, Hearn admits the bout will not happen until at least, 2022.<\/p>\n

Joshua had been frustrated in his bid to agree a deal with Wilder.<\/p>\n

Any lingering hopes of a bout appeared to be ended when Wilder\u2019s WBC belt was ripped away by Tyson Fury last year.<\/p>\n

Joshua is currently in talks about a two-fight contract with Fury.<\/p>\n

But Hearn refused to rule out Joshua vs Wilder in the future.<\/p>\n

He told Sky Sports: \u201cIf it\u2019s the right fight for AJ, not stylistically, but if it\u2019s the right commercial fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cWilder knows he turned down the deal of a lifetime to fight Joshua, but he made his bed and respect to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll we\u2019re focusing on is the Tyson Fury fight, and anything else happens in 2022, because those two fights will be our plan for 2021.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
