1. Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) yesterday, condemned any form of dialogue or amnesty for bandits.
\nThe NGE aligned with President Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s position that giving cash and other materials to the bandits will embolden them.<\/p>\n

2. Long queues continued on Monday at retail stations in Abuja, Lagos and Ibadan respectively despite assurances from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on the availability of petrol for consumers in the country. The scarcity is a major source of concern by many Nigerians.<\/p>\n

3. Director General, Progressives Governors\u2019 Forum (PGF), Salihu Lukman on Monday, said insecurity in the country is no longer acceptable to Nigerians.
\nLukman said this in a statement issued in Abuja, yesterday. He lamented the current security situation across the country.<\/p>\n

4. The Federal Government, yesterday, assured that necessary platforms have been put in place to ensure security of all Nigerians, especially school children.
