Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Amaju Pinnick, the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has said they are yet to decide if the national team will travel by boat for their 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles will battle the Squirrels in Cotonou on March 27, before facing Lesotho three days later in Lagos.<\/p>\n

Pinnick has now revealed that travelling by the sea is one of the options the NFF is considering.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoing to Cotonou by boat I do that all the time when we were going to inspect we did it, there\u2019s nothing wrong in exploring other forms of adventure in Nigeria,\u201d Pinnick told Arise TV.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s nobody in Lagos that has not been to Ilashe or been to Tarkwa Bay, so it\u2019s the same thing, so what\u2019s the big deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook at the Lagos boat terminal, it\u2019s one of the best in the world that I\u2019ve seen, so why don\u2019t we use all those things if we have them.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo it\u2019s just a projection, we have not agreed on it. We are looking at going by road to Cotonou which is our next-door neighbour because even if you want to leave Eko Hotel to the Murtala Muhammed Airport it is half the journey of going to Cotonou, so why do you need to fly and go to Cotonou?\u201d<\/p>\n
