Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 195 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 17 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.<\/p>\n

The development brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country since the outbreak in 2020 to 158,237.<\/p>\n

NCDC made the announcement on Saturday night via a report on its official website.<\/p>\n

The health agency also confirmed the death of 10 persons due to complications from the virus. This brings the total number of fatalities so far to 1,964.<\/p>\n
