Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 371 fresh cases of coronavirus, (COVID-19) in many states across the country.<\/p>\n

The development brings the total number of recorded cases since February 2020 to 158,906.<\/p>\n

Among the 158,906 cases confirmed so far, 138,502 patients have been successfully treated and discharged from various isolation centres across the country, while about 1,982 persons have died.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST reports that the total number of active COVID-19 cases in the country as at March 9, stands at 18,422.<\/p>\n

The health agency made the announcement yesterday night via a tweet on its verified Twitter handle.<\/p>\n
