Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr, has warned that Nigeria\u2019s 2021 AFCON qualifier fixtures against Benin and Lesotho will not be easy games for his side because the Likuena drew against the Squirrels.<\/p>\n

Rohr, however, promised that the Super Eagles are going to give their best against Benin and Lesotho.<\/p>\n

Nigeria will on Saturday tackle Benin at the Stade Charles de Gaulle, before facing Lesotho on March 30 in Lagos.<\/p>\n

Rohr\u2019s men lead the Group L qualifying group with 8 points after four matches while Benin trail in second place with 7 points and Lesotho are at the bottom of the group with 2 points.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to finish our qualification on a positive note and the two matches against Benin and Lesotho are very important,\u201d Rohr told the CAF website.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, we know that Benin is difficult to beat after our last game in Uyo [Nigeria won the game 2-1], and we need at least a point against them to qualify for next year\u2019s AFCON.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen, we\u2019re playing our final game in Lagos. We want to win in Lagos because it has been a long time since we last played there, and we want to conclude the qualifiers with a victory as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are not going to be easy matches because Lesotho drew with Benin, but we\u2019re going to give our best against these opponents.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
