Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 113 new cases of COVID-19 in 9 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.<\/p>\n

This brings the total number of recorded infections in the country to 162,388.<\/p>\n

The health agency made the announcement while giving an update on Friday night via a post on its verified Facebook page.<\/p>\n

NCDC said about 104 patients were discharged across the country bringing the total number of recoveries to 149,986.<\/p>\n

No fewer than three persons also died of COVID19 complications in the last 24 hours as total fatalities hit 2,039.<\/p>\n

According to the report, States with the highest fresh cases include Lagos-53, Rivers-22 and Akwa Ibom-12.<\/p>\n

Others are: Kaduna-12, Ondo-6,Osun-3, FCT-2, Jigawa-1, Nasarawa-1 and Kano-1.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
