The Senator representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted to a statement made by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, that foreigners who try to intervene in the forthcoming general election would return in body bags.<\/p>\n

Writing via his Twitter page, Sani called on Nigerians and the international community to take the statement seriously.<\/p>\n

He wrote \u201cThe threat to kill foreigners who \u2018interfere\u2019 in Nigeria\u2019s elections is a condemnable act. Nigerians and the International community must take this seriously.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe sources and plots of violence is now clear.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile our mind is set on ballot boxes and votes, theirs is set on bullets, bodybags & coffins.\u201d<\/p>\n
