Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Olusegun Bamgbose, Esq., National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, CAGG has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is already exhausted and that only his exit from power can give Nigerians the needed sigh of relief.<\/p>\n

Bamgbose noted that Nigeria\u2019s unity is currently under serious threat, pointing out that the agitations for secession has never been this strong in the entire political history of the country.<\/p>\n

According to the senior lawyer, who has also declared interest to run in the 2023 presidency, the open agitation for Oduduwa Republic is a visible evidence that all is not well with Nigeria\u2019s unity.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur unity has never been this weak. The insecurity across the nation has never helped matters. Governance has been shut down,\u201d Bamgbose told members of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, in Ilorin, Kwara State on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cNigeria is fast becoming the most unsecured in the world. There is virtually no day that there is not a report of killings and abductions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Presidency has been crippled by these ugly events. Nigerians have lost interest and confidence in Buhari\u2019s Presidency. Nigeria is almost a jungle.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe security agents are overwhelmed. President Buhari has really not helped in assuring the citizens that there is respite at sight.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomething urgent must be done or else the country will collapse. It\u2019s, however, my humble view that the exit of Buhari will certainly fortify our unity.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn essence, things may not really change for the better until we have a new government come 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cBuhari is already exhausted. It\u2019s only his exit from power that can give us sigh of relief. The era of sentiments has gone.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe issue is not where you have come from but rather your ability to find a lasting solution to the intimidating challenges confronting us.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs elected President of Nigeria, my priority will be to tackle insecurity headlong. I will only need 12 months to displace insecurity in Nigeria.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
