Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has said the active cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country has risen to 10,126.<\/p>\n

This is sequel to the confirmation of 49 new cases in 8 states by the agency, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the country so far to 162,641.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST reports that the figures represent the lowest daily cases recorded in the country since the beginning of 2021.<\/p>\n

NCDC made the announcement on Monday night while giving updates on daily cases via its official website.<\/p>\n

The health agency also confirmed the recovery and discharge of 158 patients, bringing the total number of recoveries to 150,466.<\/p>\n
