Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland, is \u201ca bastard\u201d to play against.<\/p>\n

Guardiola was speaking after City\u2019s 2-1 win over Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Although Haaland didn\u2019t score against City, he showed plenty of glimpses of why he is the hottest player in Europe at the moment. He also set up Dortmund\u2019s goal for Marco Reus.<\/p>\n

Guardiola has now admitted it was extremely difficult to try and contain him.<\/p>\n

When asked if he was surprised by Dortmund\u2019s performance and approach, Guardiola told DAZN after the game: \u201cNo not surprised because it happened in the game against Bayern Munich, playing five at the back and they\u2019re [used to] playing in that system.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe quality of Dahoud and Bellingham and of course the pace of the people up front. So the quality is there, we know it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you want to press they play long balls, they play long balls to Haaland. Haaland is a b****** \u2013 the link with him is always perfect and after they have the pace.<\/p>\n
