Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has restated his decision never to pay ransom to any bandit.<\/p>\n

The governor who spoke in a radio chat on Friday in Kaduna, said even if his son is kidnapped, he would rather pray for him to make heaven than to pay a ransom.<\/p>\n

The governor vowed that his government would not engage in negotiation with bandits troubling the state.<\/p>\n

Governor El-Rufai said he had warned his family members to be careful to avoid being abducted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean it and I will say it again here. Even if my son is kidnapped, I will rather pray for him to make heaven instead because I won\u2019t pay any ransom,\u201d the governor said.<\/p>\n

He assured that his government would use other means to ensure the release of the remaining abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Kaduna.<\/p>\n

Recall that ten out of the 39 students who were abducted on March 11 have regained freedom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
