{"id":41628,"date":"2021-04-23T18:21:17","date_gmt":"2021-04-23T18:21:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/?p=41628"},"modified":"2021-04-23T17:21:34","modified_gmt":"2021-04-23T17:21:34","slug":"dunamis-pastor-paul-enenche-clears-air-on-alleged-buying-of-private-jet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/dunamis-pastor-paul-enenche-clears-air-on-alleged-buying-of-private-jet","title":{"rendered":"Dunamis Pastor, Paul Enenche clears air on alleged buying of private jet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\">Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Paul Enenche on Friday dismissed reports of buying a private jet.<\/p>\n<p>DAILY POST gathered that some media platforms had claimed that Enenche recently purchased a private jet.<\/p>\n<p>They had shared a photograph of the medical doctor turned pastor boarding a private jet with number N838BB.<\/p>\n<p>But Enenche, in a reaction to the news described the rumours as false, stressing that the jet was chartered for his ministerial duty in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Enenche clarified the allegation in a statement tagged: \u201cOn the purported acquisition of a private jet,\u201d signed by his Secretary, Sylvester Edoh.<\/p>\n<p>The statement reads: \u201cWe became aware of certain fake news flying in the air regarding our purported acquisition of a private jet and we would like to make the following points clear<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe possession of a private jet for easy, stress-less and aggressive spread of the gospel is not a luxury but a basic and vital necessity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy God\u2019s grace, we do not lack the capacity to acquire or own a private jet for the sake of the gospel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, the news of our acquisition of a private jet that is currently making rounds is absolutely false and totally untrue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving said the above, it is important to note the following for the records.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThe picture of the jet making the rounds is that of an aircraft, N838BB HAWKER 800XP (HS25), belonging to a private aviation company that was chartered in December 2019 for a series of crusades in Benue State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not need to acquire or buy equipment before we can own it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have the capacity to announce by ourselves, whatever we deem news-worthy.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
