Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has assured that President Muhammadu Buhari would not extend his tenure in 2023.<\/p>\n

Tinubu said Buhari would not spend \u201cone hour beyond his tenure\u201d in office.<\/p>\n

He disclosed this while addressing journalists yesterday in Abuja.<\/p>\n

According to Tinubu, Buhari would respect the country\u2019s Constitution at the end of his tenure in 2023.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWe cannot interject politics and assumptions into everything. We have a nation to build; we have a baton to pass.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can depend on Buhari that he will not spend one hour beyond his tenure. He will do that. He will comply with the Constitution.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former Lagos State governor also declared that the ruling APC has brighter chances in 2023.<\/p>\n

He assured that the ruling party would continue to work for a better Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe chances are as bright as a midnight star. We\u2019ll continue to work for a better Nigeria and that\u2019s what you need,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
