Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, has embarked on an indefinite strike over unpaid salary.<\/p>\n

Dr Temitope Hussein revealed this to newsmen on Saturday, NAN reports.<\/p>\n

Hussein said the strike was to protest the non-payment of January, February, March and April salaries of some members of the association.<\/p>\n

He claimed the association was protesting other issues which include the non-enrolment of some members into the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, IPPIS.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of our members are yet to be paid their four months salary.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are people that have families to feed and knowing how hard things are currently in the country nobody\u2019s salary should be withheld.<\/p>\n
