Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The national power grid has suffered another system collapse.<\/p>\n

This was confirmed by three electricity distribution companies in a post on their Twitter pages.<\/p>\n

Abuja Electric (AEDC) confirmed to DAILY POST that the national grid has collapsed, the reason for the outage in Abuja.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201c Good day, please be informed that we are currently experiencing a grid system outage which has affected supply to our franchise area.<\/p>\n

\u201cNormal supply will be restored as soon as we receive more allocation from the national grid. We regret the inconvenience caused.\u201d<\/p>\n

Similarly, a post by Kaduna Electric on Twitter read: \u201cWe regret to inform you that the power outage currently being experienced across our franchise \u2018Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states is as a result of the collapse of the national grid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also, Eko Electricity Distribution Company Plc, in a message to its customers on Wednesday appealed to customers to be patient with them.<\/p>\n

The tweet read: \u201cDear customer, there is a partial system collapse on the national grid. Our TCN partners are working to restore supply immediately. Please bear with us.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
