Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has provided a reason for the fight between his teammates and Chelsea players towards the end of their Premier League on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Blues climbed above the Foxes in the table and into the Champions League driving seat after the 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

And one of the talking points of the encounter was in injury time when a fight broke out between the Blues stars and Leicester City players.<\/p>\n

It all began when Antonio Rudiger reacted to Leicester City right-back Ricardo Pereira\u2019s late challenge on Ben Chilwell.<\/p>\n

Iheanacho explained that he was only trying to calm things down by acting as peacemaker as tempers boiled over.<\/p>\n

Iheanacho told Sky Sports, \u201cAntonio Rudiger went aggressively on Ricardo Pereira and that is what caused the fight. I was telling him to calm down.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both sides could be fined by the FA for failing to control their players.<\/p>\n

Iheanacho came off the bench to score his 12th league goals and nineteen in all competitions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
