Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Sen. Orji Kalu, the Chief Whip of the Senate, has commiserated with members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations on the death of the founder of the ministry, Pastor T.B Joshua.<\/p>\n

Kalu, in a condolence message issued in Abuja on Sunday mourned the renowned preacher and evangelist and stressed that his followers would greatly miss him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe will be remembered as a notable spiritual leader with a passion for empowering the poor and vulnerable in the society,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

According to him, the deceased was popular beyond the shores of Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe mourn him. His death is shocking and painful.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was committed to spreading the gospel of God through his religious and philanthropic platforms.<\/p>\n

\u201cPastor Joshua was simple, kind-hearted, generous and easy going.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe played a key role in human capital development through philanthropy and counselling.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis demise has, no doubt, left a big vacuum in the synagogue,\u201d Kalu stated.<\/p>\n

Kalu, however, urged the congregation to take solace in the fact that he contributed immensely to the growth of the church and the larger community by touching lives positively.<\/p>\n

He conveyed his condolences to the government and people of Ondo over the loss and prayed for the eternal repose of his soul.<\/p>\n
