Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that during his days in the Nigerian Army, he was ready to pay the ultimate price for the betterment of the country.<\/p>\n

Buhari who stated this in his speech on Saturday to mark the 2021 Democracy Day, expressed optimism that the country would surmount the current security and economic challenges bedeviling it.<\/p>\n

According to him, his administration is working hard to ensure that the killings in many part of the country come to an end.<\/p>\n

He appreciated Nigerians for their support and patience despite the challenges, stressing that the country will come out of the challenges stronger.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cOvercoming the present challenges is but one of a necessary process that we have to undergo as a nation so that we can come out stronger.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe day I joined the Nigerian Army, I was prepared to lay down my life for Nigeria\u201d.<\/p>\n
