Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has revealed that he has no grudges against President Muhammadu Buhari amid face-off with the presidency over herdsmen attacks.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST recalls that the governor and the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to President Buhari had hitherto engaged in war of words over alleged inability of Buhari to tackle insecurity in the State.<\/p>\n

However, in a media briefing to mark this year\u2019s Democracy Day and his mid term as re-elected Governor, Ortom said he remembers the president in his daily devotion.<\/p>\n

Ortom, who recalls how the people of the state organized prayers for the president when he was having a health crisis, said he has no reason to hate anyone.<\/p>\n

He, however, admitted that they both have some disagreement over policies not favorable to the people of the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am a Christian; born again for that matter. And I have no reason to hate anyone. The president is my president.<\/p>\n

\u201cI pray for the president every day in my devotion. When the president was sick, Benue state was the first state that organised prayers for him under my watch.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can disagree on policy issues. But I don\u2019t hate the president. My president is Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n
