Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Presidency has reacted to the recent prophecy by a Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, where he claimed that Nigeria\u2019s corporate existence would not survive till 2040.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST had reported that the renowned prophet, during the launch of the 2021\/2022 edition of the \u201cWarnings to the Nations,\u201d a compendium of prophecies for countries of the world, the prophet said the country would soon disintegrate, saying it would be bloodless.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the prophecy, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in a statement on Thursday night titled \u201cSOME PROPHETS SEE NOTHING\u201d, urged Ayodele to focus on his pastoral work.<\/p>\n

Adesina who lambasted some Nigerian prophets over their alleged fake prophecies said Nigeria would survive till 2040.<\/p>\n

The statement reads, \u201cWhat am I saying? Don\u2019t nations break? Where is the old Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, and many others? Yes, those countries broke into splinters, but as for Nigeria, it would survive.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeyond 2035 and 2040, whether we are still here or not. And as long as patriots continue to lead the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut for Primate Ayodele, let him focus on touching lives through preaching the gospel, and empowering of many people. It has great gains now and in eternity\u201d.<\/p>\n
